Chey is just mad now.

Momma and the Almost Dad are getting us a fancy new window. They finished taking out all the roadies in front of the window so I can see way outside now. Then some man came to the house during my dinner time--but Momma made Cheysuli wait until I would come down and she called me very nicely to the kitchen when I was really hungry so I would come in and eat even though that other man was in the living room talking to the Almost Dad.
After he left, Momma said they were getting a "bay window" which I guess means that it will push out of the house and I can see on three sides outside. There will be screens on the two side windows so I can smell the air from two places. She said it will be a little like the green house window I like but bigger.
I am furry excited 'cause then it will be like being outside while I am safe inside!

Tonight there is a vigil for Miss Trixie in the Big Piney Woods at 6 PM PDT. I will try and go. Momma won't be home so I don't know if I will make it cause I don't tell time so well. Perhaps Cheysuli will help me remember. I know she wants to go to.

Our songs will be sung for her so she knows that she is missed.

I pray thee Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake
I pray thee Lord my soul to take.
God Bless Momma.
God Bless the Almost dad.
God Bless Georgia.
Umm... Yeah, Bless Cheysuli.
And please God, could you look out for Miss Trixie. She is getting older and her eyesight is failing, so could you keep Miles watchful so he can lead her to the places she wants to go? And could you make sure his Momma knows it so he can get some ham? And could you look out for the Meezer's Mom 'cause Momma says that it's furry hard to know a kitty is old and can't do the things she likes so much no more. Momma said you could maybe make sure that the time Trixie has left is good quality time.
And God, could you help Luna's Momma find her? She is probably furry scared in the woods.
And finally, I think, could you look after Patches' and Mittens' Momma when she has to have her surgery and make sure she can come home and be well really quickly. I would hate to be without my Momma and I bet the calico girls don't want to be without theirs either.
Oh and God, could you make sure that the cat blog world has more happy things so I don't have to pray so long.? It's hard for a little cat to stay awake this long before a nap...

The HTML book is furry good 'cause it sets me up the height I need to be to use the computer really well. She also always leaves it in a good spot for me. I don't know why that isn't a good book!
Thursday, August 24, 2006
What's on page 123
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123
3. Find the fifth sentence
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that cool or intellectual book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.6. Tag whomever you want, or not.
Our Closest book that had sentences (the HTML reference just had pictures on page 123) was HTML for the World Wide Web. It says
"3. Type /> to complete the base tag.
Target names are case sensitive. In addition, you should always enclose them in quotation marks."
Momma does not have furry good books around the desk...

Other than that I had a good day yesterday. I stretched some cause I guess when we have the grand unveiling of the yoga video we will all be in Seattle for autographs for people selling it. They wanted to do New York, but Cheysuli wanted to start here and work our way around the country. She is working to make sure they stop in cities where we have blogging cat friends. I don't know that I will be on the whole tour but I will be here in Seattle.

Cheysuli says that anyone who didn't come, obviously needs the video to work out and she expects you all to rush out and buy it to keep your figures--or to get a figure in some cases.
I'm excited 'cause I'm sure it will be big and I'll be FAMOUS!

On Saturday she worked in the morning and then she came home and took some dirt, which she called "compost" (but it didn't look like a post to me) to the back yard. Then she took a hoe and was out there in a small area behind the big trees hoeing and stuff and spreading down the post thing (which really didn't look like a post to me at all by this time). Then she came in and she and the Almost Dad talked a bit and they had dinner. I didn't share but I had my own dinner later. It was much better.
Then Sunday, she and the Almost Dad got up and they went to the front and they started digging up some big plants that covered over the windows. They were taller than the Almost Dad even! I can't imagine. She called the "roadies" but there aren't any roads there--that's out a lot farther. Anyway they moved one in the morning and then dug a big hole in the area she had hoed up before and put the post stuff. Then they were gone most of the day and then they moved another one and then they were tired. I had a late dinner 'cause it took them so long to move that last one.
I can see all the way to the road (maybe that's why she called them roadies?) now but there is one more to go. She says that will have to wait until next week. I'm glad she's done for the week so I get more pets and I don't have to keep running from window to window to keep an eye on her!

Hello. It's Georgia. I get to blog this evening as Gemini is in a bit of trouble and has lost her computer privileges. She was afraid of the dog and was hiding even when the human pet (thank you for that lovely term, Zeus) was calling her and even feeding us some extra food! Now I know the pet just thinks that Gemini was terribly upset, but it didn't stop her from being upset for the few moments that she thought that she might have gotten outside.
So the dog visit is over. Finally. At my age, I pretty much feel I've seen most everything. I hiss at the dog and she avoids me. Chey just looked at her one time and she ran away! Talk about a power cat. I might even have to vote for her when the election comes around! I must show teeth and hiss and even hold out a paw to make sure the dog avoids me, but over all she's pretty good.
I did not get to go out and sun myself. I know it's because the pet was worried I'd run off and not come back until I was certain the dog was gone. She was right about that. I'm a bit on the old side for suffering yappy creatures gladly, not that I ever did. Still, it takes energy to hiss and spit and I had to be on my guard and at my age, again, I need my naps.
It's over and I'm thankful. The little cat is back and I have permission to swat her a few (and no doubt I will) to let her know she should have come out sooner.

She will be here tonight and then all day tomorrow, but she'll probably go in the car with Momma and her friend. She likes the car. That's a furry strange thing about chihuahuas. I know I am bigger than she is, but she is noisy and bouncy and just moves funny and I don't like it. I can't wait until she is gone and she isn't even here yet!

Congrats to lots of Cat bloggers on big milestones:
The calico girls for hitting 20,000 visits
Abby for her blogiversary
The Meezers are about to hit 10,000 visits!
I think I have a blogiversary coming up... Oh my! I missed it! It was August 11th that Momma started blogging about me! I took over just a few months ago cause she had lots of other stuff going on but I've been around OVER a year and I didn't even know it. Happy Belated Blogiversary to me!

On to other news, Cheysuli asked me to send folks to her place today as she's working on her yoga video and getting cats to do their best yoga positions!

I helped. I purred at her after she settled down to go to bed and she rubbed my fur. I guess it means I won't get to do even more photo uploading because this software wasn't that helpful.

I did not realize that computers had mice. She says hers has one too but it works better cause it's a mac, not a pee cee, whatever that means. I will have to go and check out these mices...

I have been furry attentive to Momma lately. I have just discovered that she actually likes it that I like to be around her. I think it's funny that she didn't know that I was just being polite when I hung back. So now we spends lots of times with me getting my back rubbed and my ears rubbed and I like her fingers.
The almost dad got a portable air conditioner unit yesterday and he set it up upstairs. I didn't think too much of the air unit as it's much cooler now than it was, but I did like the big boxes. Those were furry fun!

Still, the song thing. I have had many songs written about me by professionals and I am quite pleased to be able to share that. There was "Hey There Georgie Girl" and of course, "Georgia on my Mind," was written by another fan. I know I am mentioned in any number of other songs but they escape now.
I think I've written enough and it's time to go take my noon nap.
