Georgia

Momma is a bit worried about Georgia. She hasn't been herself lately. She's not sick exactly, but she does have a little feline acne under her chin. Momma says that's nothing to worry about but does indicate that her immune system might be slightly compromised. We put some H202 on it and that should help. Georgia didn't mind hardly at all.

She also needs a pedicure, but Momma hates to bother her when she's already feeling a little bit of a slump. It started when the weather got bad and she had to stay in the house all day. Actually she didn't have to stay but she wanted to. Then she seemed to be off her usual self. Momma says it's nothing to worry about but she worries.

Georgia even told me it's nothing to worry about but she'll get extra 'tention and special treats until Momma has something else to worry about.

Poor Georgia - seems to be a theme among the senior kitties in the blogsphere lately - Butterscotch, Chatham, Tilly and now Georgia. Mommy noticed wif Trixie and Norton that when the weafurr changed, they would be in a bit of a slump for a week or so, then adjust. We're shur she'll perk up in a few days. If she likes a brushing, maybe that will help her feel better.

Poor Georgia! Chase had acne once but he hasn't had it since he was a younger kitty.

About that catapuncture....do you think the people version would help the Chip Man with his hurt neck? Meowmy is getting desperate to get him well again. He already went to the chiropractor and he said he'd just have to wait it out.

Perhaps the acne is because she's going through puberty? We all know how down teenage girls get when they start "changing."

Oxy, Georgia. Oxy.

Feel better!

Is this breakout a new thing or something she's had before? Have you had your vet look at it, just to be on the safe side? I don't want to scare you, but the reason I bring it up is that our first cat, Puff developed little spots around her chin and wasn't acting like herself. She stopped eating and to make a long story short, she had tumors in her throat. We lost her to cancer at 6 years old. Please get this looked at.
